Black History Month, is the month where we consciously and actively celebrate the accomplishments of leaders, thinkers, creatives and Trail Blazers of African American descent. Although Black History Month’s origins began in 1915, it became an official national event in 1976 and has been celebrated every February since. The U.S. isn’t the only country that celebrate the achievement of Black and Brown history makers. Black History Month is also celebrated in Canada, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
