Auriga is a large constellation located in the northern sky, one of the 48 constellations listed by Ptolemy and is made up of stars visible in the night sky with the naked eye.
In Greek mythology, Auriga is associated with the myth of the god Erichthonius of Athens, god of fire and the forge, and the chariot he was said to drive.
